This policy explains how Veer Enterprises, which operates Nemara (nemara.shop), collects, uses and protects your personal data, in line with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

What we collect

Account and order details: your name, mobile number, email address, delivery addresses, birthday (only if you choose to share it) and order history. Payment details are entered on the payment gateway's secure page; we receive only a payment reference and status, never your card or bank details. Site usage: pages visited, device and browser information and approximate location, collected through cookies and analytics. Try-on: the camera try-on runs entirely in your browser — images are never uploaded or stored by us.

How we use it

To verify your account with one-time codes, process and deliver your orders, provide customer support and handle returns and warranty claims, prevent fraud, and improve the site. If you opt in, we also send you offers, new-arrival updates and birthday and festival messages by WhatsApp, SMS or email. You can opt out at any time.

Who we share it with

Only with partners who help us run the business, and only what they need: our payment gateway (PhonePe), courier and logistics partners, SMS, WhatsApp and email providers, and our hosting and analytics providers. We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data where required by law or to protect our rights.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and remember your bag and wishlist, and analytics cookies to understand how the site is used. You can block cookies in your browser settings, but some features may stop working.

Storage and security

Your data is stored on secure cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit. One-time codes are stored only in hashed form and expire after 10 minutes. We keep order records for as long as required by tax and accounting law, and other personal data only as long as needed for the purposes above.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent for marketing, by writing to support@nemara.shop. We will respond within 30 days. Some data may need to be kept to meet legal obligations.

Children

Our site is not intended for children under 18 without parental supervision, and we do not knowingly collect their data.
